Moisture in NYC buildings is not a comfort metric-it is a degradation driver. The engineering task is to quantify persistence, recurrence, and correlation with structural response (crack activity, geometry drift, material loss), not to react to a single high reading.

Each zone is instrumented and evaluated using thresholds defined by value + time-above-threshold + rate of change (rate).
